Greek Spanakopita (Flaky Spinach & Feta Pie)

Crispy phyllo layers stuffed with spinach and feta—golden, cheesy, and so satisfying.


Ingredients (Serves 8 | Prep: 30 min | Bake: 40 min)

  • 1 lb spinach

  • 1 cup feta, crumbled

  • ½ cup ricotta

  • 2 green onions

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 Tbsp dill

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

  • 1 package phyllo

  • ½ cup melted butter/ghee


Instructions

  1. Mix squeezed spinach with cheeses, onions, eggs, dill, nutmeg.

  2. Brush dish with butter; layer 6 phyllo sheets.

  3. Spread filling; top with 6 more sheets.

  4. Score and bake 35–40 min at 350°F.


Pro Tips

  • Damp towel keeps phyllo from drying.
