Ingredients (Serves 8 | Prep: 5 min | Cook: 8–10 hrs)

  • 3–4 lbs pork shoulder/butt

  • 1 ½ Tbsp Hawaiian sea salt (or kosher)

  • 1 Tbsp liquid smoke

  • Banana leaves (optional)


Instructions

  1. Rub pork with salt and liquid smoke.

  2. Wrap in banana leaves if using.

  3. Slow cook on low 8–10 hrs.

  4. Shred with forks—juices mix in.


Pro Tips

  • Pair with steamed cabbage for classic plate.
