Quick, creamy red lentils with aromatic tempering—comforting and protein-rich.
Ingredients (Serves 4 | Prep: 10 min | Cook: 25 min)
1 cup red lentils, rinsed
1 onion, chopped
2 tomatoes
Garlic, ginger
Turmeric, cumin, coriander
Ghee for tempering
Cilantro
Instructions
Cook lentils with onion, tomatoes, spices in water.
Simmer until soft.
Temper with ghee, cumin seeds.
Garnish cilantro.
Pro Tips
Lemon at end brightens everything.
