Quick, creamy red lentils with aromatic tempering—comforting and protein-rich.


Ingredients (Serves 4 | Prep: 10 min | Cook: 25 min)

  • 1 cup red lentils, rinsed

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 tomatoes

  • Garlic, ginger

  • Turmeric, cumin, coriander

  • Ghee for tempering

  • Cilantro


Instructions

  1. Cook lentils with onion, tomatoes, spices in water.

  2. Simmer until soft.

  3. Temper with ghee, cumin seeds.

  4. Garnish cilantro.


Pro Tips

  • Lemon at end brightens everything.
