Moroccan Chicken Tagine (Aromatic Slow-Cooked Feast)

Slow-simmered chicken with sweet dried fruits and warm spices—your kitchen will smell amazing.

Ingredients (Serves 6 | Prep: 20 min | Cook: 2 hrs)
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 onions, sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 lbs chicken thighs
1 tsp each: cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, ginger
½ tsp paprika
1 cup stock
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup dried apricots
½ cup raisins
½ cup toasted almonds
Carrots, zucchini, chickpeas
Instructions
Sauté onions and garlic in oil.
Brown seasoned chicken.
Add spices, stock, tomatoes.
Stir in fruits, veggies; cover and simmer low 2 hrs.
Pro Tips
Couscous soaks up the sauce perfectly.
