Palak Paneer (Creamy Spinach with Fresh Cheese)

Smooth spinach curry with soft paneer cubes—comforting and packed with greens. My family asks for seconds every time.


Ingredients (Serves 4 | Prep: 15 min | Cook: 20 min)

  • 8 oz paneer, cubed

  • 1 lb fresh spinach

  • 1 Tbsp ghee

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • 1 tomato, chopped

  • ½ tsp cumin seeds

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • ½ tsp coriander

  • ¼ cup cream or coconut milk

  • Salt


Instructions

  1. Blanch spinach 1 min; puree smooth.

  2. Heat ghee; add cumin, then onion, garlic, ginger.

  3. Stir in tomato and spices; cook soft.

  4. Add spinach puree and cream; simmer 5 min.

  5. Fold in paneer; warm through.


Pro Tips

  • Lightly fry paneer first for texture.
