Ingredients (Serves 4 | Prep: 15 min | Cook: 40 min)

  • 1 cup green/brown lentils

  • 1 cup rice

  • 3 onions, sliced thin

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • Cumin, salt

  • Yogurt (optional serve)


Instructions

  1. Cook lentils until tender.

  2. Caramelize onions slow in oil.

  3. Add rice to lentils with water; cook.

  4. Top generously with onions.


Pro Tips

  • Yogurt dollop cools the spices.
